Alexander Michael is the Public Realm Operations Manager for the National Landing Business Improvement District in Arlington, Virginia. He oversees public realm operations, including streetscape maintenance, landscaping, interim public art, stakeholder coordination, and issue resolution across one of the Washington region's fastest-growing mixed-use districts. Working within a model that does not include a dedicated Clean & Safe ambassador team, Alex focuses on partnership-based approaches to public realm management, coordinating with property owners, service providers, and local government agencies. He holds a Master's degree in Geography from The George Washington University and has over a decade of GIS experience and a background in urban planning, geospatial analysis, and public sector work.
