With over 30 years of expertise in community building and downtown revitalization, Molly is a leading authority on transforming spaces into vibrant community hubs. In 2022, she founded Imagine the Possibilities (ITP) Consulting, where she partners with clients and communities to promote economic growth, retail rejuvenation, and placemaking. In addition to her consulting firm, she founded two award-wining retail establishments in downtown Elgin, TX – The Owl Wine Bar & Home Goods Store and Elgin Dry Goods. In the spring of 2025, she sold The Owl and continues to operate Elgin Dry Goods. In her spare time she serves on numerous communities boards including Frontier Bank of Texas and the Texas Downtown Association Board of Directors.
Molly spent 20 years at the Downtown Austin Alliance, holding various positions creating new divisions including Retail and Research. The creation of the transportation mobility association, Movability and the creation of the Foundation a 501 (c)(3) organization that operates, funds and programs the downtown urban park Republic Square and other placemaking activities. Additionally, she established significant public art installations, and the creative laboratory Writing on the Walls. In 2023, Molly was honored with the prestigious Alan Taniguchi Award for Public Architecture by the American Institute of Architects, Austin Chapter, and the Austin Foundation of Architecture, recognizing her three decades of impactful work in Austin, TX, and Elgin, TX. Molly earned her bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and History from Trinity University.
