Philip Rafshoon joined the Midtown Alliance as Director of Member Engagement in May 2016. A graduate of Georgia Tech, he began his career in sales with the NCR Corporation. From 1993 until 2012, Rafshoon owned and operated Atlanta’s Outwrite Bookstore & Coffeehouse, a landmark welcoming space and unofficial LGBTQ community center.
In his role at Midtown Alliance, he works with almost 400 member organizations ranging from small businesses to large employers and institutions as well as office and residential buildings. The membership program keeps them connected to the BID’s work and projects as well as with each other through a range of enhanced communications, events, and customer service.
