2022 Webinar: Making Micromobility Make Cents

When:  Jul 20, 2022 from 14:00 to 15:00 (ET)

Driving more business comes in smaller vehicles: New research from Emory University shows when shared micromobility arrives in a neighborhood, local businesses get a boost to the tune of $2,000 per vehicle. In a study of nearly 100 US cities, researchers at Emory University found the introduction of dockless scooters results in significant increase in spending at local restaurants. In this webinar, we’ll hear from the researchers behind these findings about what happens to the local economy after scooters arrive and why. We’ll also discuss what scooters can do for tourism, and how you can make shared micromobility an asset for your community.
